WHO ARE WE
Gillard Pass Fisheries Association (GPFA)
Gillard Pass Fisheries Association We are a registered charity with a mandate to recover and sustain healthy salmon populations in the Stuart Island and Southern Mainland Inlets area of British Columbia through enhancement, monitoring and research. The group is governed by a volunteer board of directors with management and administration functions provided as in-kind contributions. This allows all funds raised to go directly to delivering programs.
The Association works closely with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and in partnership with the Kwiakah First Nation in the Phillips River and the Homalco First Nation in Bute Inlet. GPFA is strongly supported by the businesses and individuals within the Stuart Island Community and beyond.
Gillard Pass Fisheries Association acknowledges that its projects are within the traditional and ancestral territories of the Kwiakah, Homalco, K'òmoks, We Wai Kai and Wei Wai Kum First Nations.

We can’t do it without all of you!
Support for Gillard Pass continues to be strong thanks to the generosity of the individuals and businesses who make up the Stuart Island community. This support has allowed GPFA to continue to be a leading salmon enhancement group on the coast.
